Our Compass designer was building a boat and contemplating navigation when inspiration struck. Based on the simple needle compass - a cork floating in water with a magnetized needle sticking through it - our ceiling light takes significantly more skill and time to create.

Our ceiling light is an example of "sylvan steel." Tendrils curl around the glass bowl and sprout delicate, hand-forged iron leaves to create an eye-catching design. Handcrafted by artisans at our forge here in Vermont, each piece is unique.
