The Nakamura Vase is an artisanal creation made of porcelain that is hand-thrown, hand-glazed, and hand-decorated. The pale gray and black vessel has intentional pitting on the surface. Because the motifs on this vase are created by hand, each will vary slightly as each artist puts his brush to the surface of the glazed material in his or her own unique way.
