Item Description
When we happened upon a breathtaking avant garde Modernist candelabra, we were determined to resurrect it as a chandelier and sconce with electric lamping. The ensuing process was a labor of love, as we sought to establish balance in a purposefully asymmetrical fixture and create the illusion of continuity. Transforming the piece from a sculptural base for wax-and-flame candles to an electric fixture, we continued our brand tradition of keeping the bobeches and making the candle sleeves the same finish as the rest of the piece.
Long Description: The Thornhill Chandeliers bring the form of nature to lighting. The forest-like branches of the fixture are finished in a stark Marcado Black that enhances the silhouette of the framework. The vintage-style bulbs elevate the overall design.
