This 4 in. small-aperture Air-Tight Non-IC Remodel Housing provides accent and task lighting for remodel applications and is ideal for those who do not have easy access above the ceiling. Use with a variety of trims and finishes to create different lighting effects or match any decor. Its gasketed air-tight lamp housing prevents conditioned air from escaping into the attic space, reducing unnecessary HVAC energy usage. The installation springs adjust to fit ceiling thicknesses from ½ in. to 1 ¼ in. The housing is constructed from die-formed corrosion resistant galvanized steel. It features a universal J-box with snap-out sides and provided with push in connectors to make wiring quick and easy. Simple installation mounting springs press and lock into place, making installation quick and efficient. Hanger bars include t-bar mounting clamps for use in suspended t-grid ceilings. The integrated temperature sensor prevents lamp overheating, allowing this fixture to be used with a range of lamp shapes and wattages. It is UL and CUL listed for damp locations and Non-IC installation. The housing is compatible with a variety of trims and finishes to create different lighting effects or to easily match any decor.

Its gasketed Air-Tight housing restricts airflow from conditioned spaces into unconditioned attic space, preventing unnecessary HVAC costs and improving the overall home energy efficiency. The housing and frame are constructed from die-formed corrosion resistant galvanized steel. The lamp housing compartment can be adjusted to fit ceiling thicknesses from ½ in. to 1 ¼ in. It features a universal J-box with snap-out sides. Wiring is made easy with the included wiring quick-connects that allow simple installation of 12-20 AWG wire without using separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in. The housing has pre-installed nails on the adjustable hanger bars which are easily installed in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams. Hanger bars include t-bar mounting clamps for use in suspended t-grid ceilings. The bar hangers have a maximum span of 24 in. and are scored in two locations for fast, clean breaking, allowing housing installation in very narrow joist spacings. It is UL and CUL listed for damp locations and is thermally protected against improper use of lamps.
